When You Don´t Know What To Do

Have you ever gotten to a place in your life when you just haven´t got a clue what to do about a given situation?
Sure, we all have.

There is a commercial on TV trying to convince folks to enroll in a particular college. It shows this young man staring into a TV screen and the voice is saying something like, Why are you just sitting there. You´re not happy with the way things are going, but just worrying or just thinking about it is not going to change anything. Go ahead, make the call; stop making it complicated. It´s simple. Call now. You´ll be glad you did.
When life seems to be closing in on you and you have tried all that you know to do, you´ve gotten all that advise from all your friends and you still don´t have a clue what to do. Make the call!
PRAY! Turn to the one who has all the answers, Your heavenly Father. 1 Peter 5:6-9

We Are Going To Look At Several Things In This Scripture.

Humble Yourself

Stop fighting, stop arguing.

Under The Mighty Hand Of God

You are going to do the best you can to trust God.
Lord, whatever happens, I know you are still in control.

That He May Exalt You

Know this is a season and your Father Will Bring you out of it.
He will bring you out of it at the right and best time that will benefit you and glorify Him.

Be Sober

God knows this is serious business.
He doesn´t take it lightly when life´s problems knock us down.

Your Adversary, As A Roaring Lion

Be aware that the devil is always ready to take unfair advantage of you.
Remember that AS a roaring lion is NOT a real roaring lion.
AS means it´s a copy, not the genuine thing but a fake and a liar.

Whom resist

This whole scenario is parallel to; James 4:7
resist means to stand against or oppose or taking offensive action.
flee means to run away.
This is a conditional promise of God.

Steadfast

That is, to remain solid, strong, and sure in your prayer.
Not with two minds.

Faith

This is the key that unlocks the door when you pray.
In THE FAITH, not just faith but THE FAITH.
The faith unto salvation, that is THE FAITH.
The other kind of faith would be I believe the sun comes up in the morning and it goes down at night. James 2:19-20

This Brings Us To The Bottom Line. I know It´s Hard To Believe And I Know We Don´t Feel It, But YOU ARE NOT ALONE!

The Same Afflications Are Accomplished In Your Brethren

The key is to stand on the truth of God´s Word instead of how we feel.
The Truth of God´s Word will give you strength and a compass to follow. Psalms 119:105

Conclsion

When Life Is Out Of Kilter And Your Mind Can´t Understand, You Still Have God.

You May Not Have Anything Left But God.
Some folks may lose all their worldly possessions.
Some may lose a loved one.
When God is all you have, you´ll find that He is all you need. Hebrews 5:6
