Revival is really a misunderstood word
- It´s used often but often used incorrectly
- Revival is more than just a series of meetings!
- Men have meetings
- God has Revivals
- Revival has to do with bringing back life!
Walter Bolt says
Revival is God at work, restoring His Church back to health.
We´ve also got to understand a healthy Church is a soul winning Church.
Revival must result in reaping. When people are saved, people experiencing Revival!

It is Right to Pray for Revival!
The quote; wilt thou not revive us again?
The psalmist is praying for revivalAll revivals begin in prayer
The great preacher Moody said; "Every great work of God can be traced to a kneeling figure."
Scripture says in 2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people which are called by my name, should humble themselves and pray, I will hear them and heal their land.
Scripture Acts 4:31 says; When they had prayed, the place was shaken.
In our daily prayer life we need to include Revival, for ourselves and the Church.
It is Right to Expect Revival
There have been great revivals in the past!
Wicked Nineveh RepentedThe early Church turned the world upside down
John and Charles Wesley brought revival to England
Jonathan Edwards saw revival in Colonial America
Charles Finney and A.C. Lanshier were used to bring revival in 1857
The great Welsh Revival
Sad to say people don´t believe God will bring Revival Today
It may be a misunderstanding of prophesy?People may not want to pay the price?
There will always be defeatist voices
But God is unchanged, He is the same yesterday, today, and forever!
We can have revival today!
It is Right to Expect rejoicing to Result from Revival
That thy people may rejoice in thee.Revival may begin in tears, but it ends in joy!

A christian who is continually grieving over past sins does not have a clue about Gods amazing grace, and needs Revival!Revival and Rejoicing go hand in hand
The coal mines in Wales were filled with singing after revivalThe taverns were empty after revival
The courts were without cases on some days after revival
Revival finds people focusing on Jesus, resulting in joy
So how does Revival Start?
A few concerned people on their face before God in prayer!
