  1. The One to come would exalt those in valleys
  2. He would bring the proud low
  3. He would make the crooked straight
  4. He would make the rough smooth

Only the mighty God can work such miracles in people

The mighty God at work in each of us through the Gospel

The Mighty God to Bring Light to Those in Darkness

Jesus called the "Day Spring" the dawn

John to be a prophet of the Highest

  1. He would give light to those in darkness
  2. He would give light to those in the shadow of death
  3. He would give guidance to those in trouble

Human solutions for problems fail

We need the wisdom of the mighty God

The Shepherds Were to go and Find The Mighty God

A Savior: Christ the Lord

A Savior! What good news for sinners!
This Savior is Christ the Lord

The shepherds went and found the Lord as directed

Have you found Him to be the Mighty God?

Conclusion

Come with all your sins to the One who is Mighty to save

Come with all your problems to the One who is Mighty to solve

The Mighty God awaits your call; Trust Him with your life, your all.

5 And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.

Luke 1:5 There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth.
6 And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.

8 And it came to pass, that while he executed the priest´s office before God in the order of his course,

Luke 1:76 And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways;
77 To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins,
78 Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the day spring from on high hath visited us,
79 To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.
