Will We Know Our Loved Ones In Heaven

1 Peter 1:3-5

What Makes The Hope Of Heaven Precious?

We will immediately be there upon death  2 Corinthians 5:8
No sickness, sorrow, nor death there  Revelation 21:1-6
Jesus will be there  John 14:1-3
Our inheritance is there  1 Peter 1:4

Believing Loved Ones Will Be There

Separation will be over
We will see them and know them

How Do We Know?

We Need To Know 3 Things

Heaven Is Not A Place Of Darkness But Of Light

read Revelation 21:23-27

Jesus was the Light of the world on earth

read John 8:12
Many found in Him the light of life
Many are still doing so

Heaven has light without sun or moon

read Revelation 21:23
The Glory of God lights up Glory
The Lamb is the light of heaven

There is no night there

read Revelation 21:25

Hell is the place of darkness

read Matthew 8:12
We will have more light then than now about everything

Heaven Is Not A Place Of Blindness But Of Sight

read 1 Corinthians 13:12

Many are blind on earth

Some are physically blind
Some are spiritually blind  1 Corinthians 2:14

Jesus came to open the eyes of the blind

He opened the eyes of the physically blind
Receiving Him brings spiritual sight  2 Corinthians 2:15-16

We shall not know less in heaven, but more

We will know the saints of all the ages
We will know Jesus
Why would we then not know our loved ones?

We will know them when we meet them over there

Heaven Is A place Where Jesus Makes Things Right

read 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18

Here is a text of comfort

Comfort for those who have lost loved ones in death
What comfort if they would never know them again?

The entire text speaks of reunion and fellowship

A family reunion without recognition?
Fellowship only with strangers?

We will know our saved loved ones and enjoy heaven with them

Conclusion:

We Will Fellowship There With The Family Of God

Are you Part Of The Family?

Receive The Savior And Become A Child Of God

read John 1:12

1 Peter 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

2 Corinthians 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men,
and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

John 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2 In my Father´s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.
26 And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.
27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb´s book of life.

2 Corinthians 2:15 For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish:

1 Thessalonians 4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
